A product before and after Sprucely. Before: the title is written in capitals, there is no category and the photo has no description, so the product is broken for shoppers and hidden from AI shopping assistants. After: the title reads Cardamom house blend, the category is Food, Beverages and Tobacco, Beverages, Coffee, the photo has a description, and the product is fine and ready.

Sprucely

One product, from broken to fine

Sprucely is our own Shopify app. Here it fixes one bag of coffee at Sabeel Coffee, a coffee roaster we made up for our demos.

  1. Sprucely sits on every product page in your Shopify admin.
  2. This one has three problems. Fix in Sprucely.
  3. Old and new side by side, letter by letter. You approve it.
  4. The category and the photo description, written by AI when you ask.
  5. Every check passed. Nothing to fix here.
  6. Every change is logged, and any one can be undone.

Two scores for every scan

Every scan gives two scores from 0 to 100. Each score is drawn as a field of small squares, one per product: red is broken, orange needs work, green is fine.

Ready for AI shopping

Whether AI shopping assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot can understand and place your products. A product with no category is one they skip.

What every scan checks

Sprucely shows you where your product data is messy or incomplete: titles, descriptions, photo alt text, categories, SKUs and barcodes. Complete product data is what search engines, ad feeds and AI shopping assistants read from your catalog.

Scans always cover the whole catalog. The plan's product number is the store size it fixes: the most recently updated products, up to that number.

One AI suggestion is one AI-written value for one field of one product, counted when it is written and shown. Applying fixes is free on paid plans.

When a month's AI suggestions are used up, they pause until next month or an upgrade. No extra charges.
