Who we are

Sprucely: AI Product Fixer is a Shopify app made by Didset, a software company in Jordan. This policy explains what Sprucely keeps about a store that installs it, and why.

Questions, or a request to see or delete your data: sprucely@didset.com.

What Sprucely stores for each store

  • The shop address and the store's contact email.
  • The app's access token to the store, which is kept secret.
  • The staff users who sign in: their name and email, as Shopify's login gives them.
  • For each change you apply, who approved it: the staff member's email or Shopify user id.
  • For each product: its id, its title, the link to its first image, the problems found and when it was last updated.
  • Scan results and scores.
  • Suggested changes, and a record of applied changes with the value before and after.
  • The app's settings and your plan.

What it does not store

Sprucely does not store customer, order, address or payment data, and it does not ask Shopify for access to them.

Product text is read from your store when Sprucely scans and when it makes suggestions. What is kept are the suggested and applied values.

AI suggestions

AI suggestions are made only when you ask for them. When you do, the product's text fields (and a link to a product photo, when you ask for a photo description) are sent to Anthropic, which writes the suggestion through its API.

We do not use your data to train any models. Anthropic's commercial terms say it may not train its models on this data, and Anthropic deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, apart from the exceptions in its own policy, such as keeping content longer to enforce its usage policy or to comply with the law. Anthropic's privacy policy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Support messages

Messages you send from the app's Help page are stored with their topic, their text, the reply address, the staff member who sent them and the number of screenshots attached.

Screenshots are emailed to sprucely@didset.com through Resend as attachments and are not stored by the app. Support emails and their attachments are kept in the sprucely@didset.com mailbox (Google Gmail) so we can answer and follow up. You can ask us to delete them. The Help page asks you to hide customer details before attaching a screenshot.

Questions sent from the form on this website (your name, email, store address if you give it, and your message) are emailed to sprucely@didset.com through Resend and kept in the same mailbox. The website does not store them, and we use them only to answer you.

Email

On paid plans, the weekly summary is sent through Resend from reports@mail.didset.com to the store's email. It holds scores and counts, not product text, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Where the data is kept

The app and its database run on Render, in the United States (Virginia).

How long it is kept

Your data is kept while the app is installed. Undo history is kept for your plan's undo window: 7 days on Free, 30 on Starter, 90 on Growth and 180 on Pro.

When you uninstall Sprucely, its access token is deleted at once and the app stops working on your store. Everything else is deleted when Shopify sends its shop erasure request, 48 hours later.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. It is shared only with the services Sprucely needs to work:

  • Shopify, the platform the app runs in.
  • Render, which hosts the app and its database.
  • Anthropic, which writes AI suggestions when you ask for them.
  • Resend, which sends the weekly summary and support screenshots.
  • Google, which hosts the sprucely@didset.com mailbox.

Your rights

Email sprucely@didset.com at any time to see the data Sprucely holds about your store, or to have it deleted.

Sprucely answers the customer data requests Shopify sends. It holds no customer data, so there is nothing about your customers to return or delete.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with its date. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
